Tuesday, 5 November 2013 – Lefkada, Greece

Lefkada is an Ionian island connected to mainland Greece by a long causeway and floating bridge.

On the morning we left, we saw large flocks of flamingos in the lagoon by the side of the road as we drove off the Lefkada causeway
